This (stupid BTW) rule states that it's forbidden to wait "on the track". The Peugeot 908 (Bourdais BTW) stopped close by the track itself (on the grass).

Besides, the sanction if the rule is broken is not specified and certainly not a disqualification. It could be a fine or something. The stewards decide.

So Peugeot deserve the second place.
But if this had happened to a Pescarolo or any other less influencing team, they would have received a sanction.
