At least in the top class (Ral2) it's the lowest entry for any British round this year (been a relatively good year for BRC), so I'm guessing the entry costs must be a lot higher for this one? Not terrible numbers, but was hoping for a little more originally.
Several hundred pounds extra, plus much longer distance will add much more costs in terms of tyres, fuel, car mileage, extra accommodation etc.
Plus we are nearing the end of the year when budgets are running low.
Wouldn't call myself an average Joe fan, I just enjoyed watching the live non-commentary option but as you could tell, I still responded in this forum every now and again during the weekend.
That's true, but 4th of the main (only) contenders wasnt the result he was looking for after recent wins in Wales.
Pryce has to be the Title favourite but pressure from McRae would've been good....
Jon Armstrong - He was there all along.
After this weekend’s WRC Croatia Rally, Jon Armstrong and co driver Shane Byrne came away with 9 x top 3 stage times and 6 points gained from 3rd overall...
I'm glad that Taka got his win before this weekend; the win he got from Kenya was more earned, and this one was more gifted. Both give the same amount of points, but feel different.
A bit of fresh...
I guess RallyTV has taken more of the average Joe fans. Understable that people chose to watch rather than sitting in front of a forum. Except for me and some guys, of course... ; )
