Not much sense to send Sordo in a fast gravel event; he would be at best 6th tonight (and maybe worse considering how much time he didn’t drive on fast gravel). Belgium could be more an acceptable bet but clearly not a gift when we see what happened last year to drivers with no experience there.
Not saying promoting Solberg was a good idea but clearly, if you don’t put him here, you won’t put him anywhere.
So? You don’t put him anywhere, doesn’t seem like much of a loss, perhaps just the sponsorship money. Besides having Sordo in Ypres wouldn’t be the worse idea, he knows his way around getting the points when he doesn’t know the event.
