Judging by how very close Hamilton was behind him, slowing on the racing line was always going to result in Hamilton crashing into him. It could have turned out bad for Verstappen too. It would be nice for Piastri to finish a race this season. McLaren is on their back foot at the moment. A fortnight is not enough time to recover ground. But it is enough to resolve whatever issues...
