Guessing the damage is in the floor, where the cage fastens in front corner. Smacked by the damaged suspension.
Has to be the only logical explanation IMO.
If you mean the anti wheel intrusion bar as it's often called, that would make sense if the front suspension is damaged, it's not, is the right rear corner.
