Exactly this, I'm sure if Pontus could have chosen an event to do before Sweden to get used to the car, it wouldn't have been Monte, but the calendar gave him no choice. If he does what Evans did, he (Sponsors) are paying for it and he might never get to Sweden...honestly he has no real choice but to just use the time to get to know the car, trying to set good times will be at the absolute bottom of his list.
Also, as the event has been so bad for Ford, they may well all end up with good road positions in Sweden if the conditions are right.
