Gutted for Ogier and the rally; he was the only one still trying to catch Tanak. The Yaris is doing great but Toyota strongest advantage is Tanak; it’s him who’s making the difference.
Like Ogier several times last year, Neuville seems to be in defensive mode; he’s not confident to attack and P4 points are better than none but Sordo is bravely proving that the i20 can be competitive on tarmac.
Another disastrous day for Citroen; they lost the chance to fight for a top 5 overall and win WRC2.
Nice to see Rovanpera leading WRC2 (so far he beat fair and square much more experienced guys, like Kajto) but there’s no way he’ll cope Kopecky pace tomorrow.
