Why are the regulations so anti-testing in the top end of the motorsport? The teams would spend that money anyway trying to find the extra advantage. Be it simulations or whatever ways they'll find
It's gearbox linked with two specific rallys. Engine could be fitted anyone of 2 "homologated" per season. But using 3rd engine in year it's 5 min time penalty on a rally where it's newly fitted
Isn't it like that, two engine limit is connected to certain chassis or body. If they take new car or chassis then they get to use new engines? I might be totally off but I remember smthng like that.
Which being the serial numbered part, explains why there's only so much repair they can do since Sweden 7 months ago.
