Are there tech differences btw cars in GRC and WRX, or could a GRC Honda be used in WRX?

The current Fabia road car’s life will be extended until 2030, maybe after that they will reconsider. The article doesn’t say they won’t be involved in a WRC programme with the Rally2 car though....
