Even if there were no weather issues, there is always the looming risk that stages will be cancelled due to spectator problems; which is more of a concern now, than ever, with the safety mandates in place. So, if the organisers had split the stages, there would be 2 medium length stages to be ruined / cancelled rather than just 1 long one. Which ever way you look at it, less stages means increased risk of loosing huge mileage.

supose the new wrc promoter actually takes over on jan 1st 2026, what happens to erc? cuz redbullgmbh ditched the world rallycross, so the new promoter is not getting that. erc is also a separated...
