Well... RallyCross is starting in Australia too
The rallycross in Australia, called EXTREME RALLYX, will debut with only the Lites class.
Some indications about the final race in February 2016 that they will host a potential WorldRX 2016 round.
Here the site with all the infos http://www.extremerallycross.com.au/
They will bring a SuperClass for season 3 and they are expecting manufacturers support, cuz Australia is one of the big markets that car's companies are interested (like in an American Series or an Euro(now World) series. I think a Japanese series would have support from the big guys too. But you dont see them having teams in England, Wales, Netherlands, Argentina, Belgium, etc...
The Nordic series have a little participation of the manufacturer teams from WorldRX, but there no direct investment from the Brands (VW, Ford, Saab, Citroen, etc)
