Its crazy. The actual technology gives the goal in the Refs ear and he gives the goal. They should make the TV & stadium coverage wait a couple of minutes to play in the graphics. So as not to confuse the situation.
The graphics we saw on Telly have no relevance to the goal. Thats something colourful to show on screen of how the decision is made.
Why they stop the footage when the ball first struck the post "no goal" instead of playing it through straight to when the keeper pushed it in "Goal" I dont know because that was what caused the confusion.
The crowd not working it out saw it stopped after it hit the post and saying no goal and celebrated. Then once the replay was played on to when the keeper pushed it over the line and it says goal. the fans suddenly go mad.
If they took time. FIFA would realise there is not a need to show the audience the incident until the game is back under way. Just let the Ref give the decision and play on before showing replays.I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy
