I liked the new English team.

I think they can do a lot better if they get some more experience (and then get rid of dinos Rooney / Gerrard)

England had great scheme in the first 20 minutes or so because that is when I took a break from the game and missed almost all of next 25 min's. But Italy sort of weathered the storm and the turned it over to their finesse game with Super Mario giving them a big fast talented physical antithesis type football player. That is why he needs to be wing forward, because they can generate offense (or the fear of it), and play the controlled relentless though mediocre offensive game. Their control of the balls just inside midfield though was superior by a little and they controlled and pushed their transition game very well. But then again I think they sort of knew what to expect from England, and they knew they had fast wings that ain't no freakin' secret! They had to respect the counter-attack but a speed advantage (which can be neutralized) in their set offense (England’s), with speed and at least 3 shots before Italy scored and had all the best chances. I think England has a fascinating side, and I think they are the new old Italy to a degree were fortuitous (Italy) because I saw a lot of shots from them that early that were really struck well, but didn't find the back of the net, Of course Italy had some well struck balls after they had the 2-1 lead that were scorched or tattooed!

The english team played well, in the heat, but the italians was the better team and deserved victory.

    Congrats Pino! (Not Ferrari)

That's the "fan" who said, they were, and had a better squad, so they would win
