Barnet
Yes i'm having a "metrosexual" moment, but i fancy a change of hairstyle. having not really paid much attention to hairstyles or hairdressing in my 18 years of existence so far i feel a bit lost. searching the internet is a no-no as it is rather useless. basically, i'm contemplating getting slight light blonde highlights but i have no idea of cost or anything really. can anyone help?
for your reference me and my hair look like this:
click
and i'm possibly looking to get something like this:
click (without the stuble as i don't pull that off well!
opinions?

I think you could pull off that haircut. Basically the only difference between your current haircut and the one becs has is the centre section which is slightly longer. If you dont like it, you can get it chopped off! and since his colour is only in the top section of the mini-mo if you dont like that bit, it can also be chopped. Although if you want to make the rest of your hair darker to make the highlighted bit stand out, you'd need an all-over colour with higlights, which can be a bit more pricey, but i'm not sure how much they charge for colours on hair as short as yours. i have quite substantially longer hair and i regularly spend over AU$100 on cuts and colour and whatnot.
Call a hairdresser and ask them. They'll quote you a price too.

I think growing it long and gelling it up into a huge flouro yellow cylinder is your best bet.
