Abarth 09 Testing
Abarth will travel to Monte Carlo with a complete new homologation of the Grande Punto S2000:
- Gearbox from X-Trac rather than Sadev
- new transmission
- new rear axle
- new suspension arms
- new steering
- new exhaust system
We are seeing a lot of footage from the Fabia testing, what about Abarth - dont they test and people film or photograph it ?

Abarth surely must test, but the Italians don't seem very good with the internet.
Either that, or it is so top secret that the 'Italian Rally Mafia' will come round and break your legs if you leak any test footage

As far as I know Scandola drove Punto S2000 09 in some regional rally event in November...

From what I have heard, Alen tested Punto last week in Italy. No footage?

Do you see some visible differences btw the 08 and 09 Abarth ?

I lied a bit. There was some wet running at the Barcelona preseason testing l recall. Some teams have wet experience. McLaren, Williams, Aston Martin and possibly Redbull did not do much wet running...
