    Tags with Conquest in 2009

Alex Tagliani has apparently found a ride for the 2009 IndyCar Series season.

According to the Toronto Star, Tagliani has secured a full-time ride with Conquest Racing for the next season.

The Quebec native made his Conquest debut in Detroit last month and then finished 12th in the season finale at Chicagoland Speedway, stepping in for Enrique Bernoldi, who was nursing an injured thumb.

After losing his ride following the amalgamation of the the IRL and Champ Car Series, Tagliani started the season on NASCAR's Canadian Tire Series, taking the checkered flag at the Edmonton stop.

Bernoldi and Camara finished 22nd and 23rd, respectively in the driver's standings this season.

Full-time ride? Wow, that's a plus. Wonder who's gonna be on the second car? Hope not another "rent-a-ride-get-u-in-for-the-next-3-races" program. Conquest is pretty open at this program of his.

Good for Tagliani, good for the series and good for the sport. Now, where's PT?
