Looking forward to it.
We hope to have a run next year.
Livewireshock on these forums, lives up there at Lismore and is in the engineering department for the local council. He has some good insight to what the roads are like.
It's great to have the WRC in our home state, yes I know I live in Canberra but we are treated as part of NSW for Motorsport

Awesome.
For a while there I thoguht that Rally Australia was never going to get going again (with all the huff and pouff about it being based in Brisbane), but now im relieved to hear that its full steam ahead.
I do raise one question though:
I have visited that area between Tweed and Byron quite a number of times of the last few years and from what I can gather the population isnt exaclty... huge (like in a capital city). I know there are major centres around with large numbers of people, but I wonder how a Super Special stage will be viable as Langly Park/Glouster Park in Perth were.
Does anyone know of any super special stage plans yet?

Great news. Great to have another International Rally back in NSW (now that the Canberra A-Pac round is gone), and fantastic to see world-level rallying return to Northern NSW, been too long since the long-lost Southern Cross Rally was canned....

not bad.. not bad.. it looks like just over an hour's drive (accoring to google maps.. which means, about 45 min drive for me) from my new house to HQ.
From the video on rallyaustralia.com they will be basing the event at a brand new resort down there. Not that there are few new resorts on the gold coast, they're popping up all the time!!
It seems interesting though that they are putting all the office and operations for the event all the way up in Brisbane.
Ooohh!! i'm getting excited already!
llarena! Are you serious?
