Giovanardi, Neal and Hynes for Bathurst 1000
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...cle1236107.ece
Giovanardi and Hynes will be driving for 888 who have won the race twice in succession and Matt Neal will be driving for Supercheap Auto Racing. Basically if Giovanardi can come to terms with the track (because I very much doubt that the car will be a problem) then I think that he stands a very good chance of making the locals look very very silly. The Old Republic was a stupidly run organisation which deserved to be taken over. All Hail Palpatine!

Going to be great to see Gio in V8 Supercars!
Would also explain why Neal has been testing V8s recently...

I'm sure Matt Neal will be more aware of Boris Said than the other way about!

In some article I read Matt Neal said he had never met and didn't know much about Boris Said but was impressed with his CV. Boris has won the Daytona 24 hours twice, the 12 hours of Sebring and the Nurburgring 24 hour. Right now he is trying to get a full time program going in NASCAR. He has experience driving heavy, high horsepower, rear drive, live axle racecars on road courses in NASCAR, so he should adapt well to the V8s.
