Stock car racing on a roundabout?
As I have a major roundabout about 200 metres from my house and I drive there every day, I have always thought what would people think of me if I entered the roundabout just to circulate there and not leave?

This made me also think that, imagine, at night when there are no cars around, and especially if you can find a good sized roundabout with multiple lanes in a somewhat remote location, why not race some laps?
Your own NASCAR!
The good thing is also that when you're on the roundabout, you're on the main road too!

I guess it all depends on the size of the roundabout, but would you not just get dizzy?

It'd be even better if the roundabout was banked!

I used to do that nearly 20 years ago in my Mk2 Escort. 'Drifting' wasn't 'invented' back then, we just used to call it 'hanging the arse out'...
