Ogier - What can you say, masterclass.
Neuville - Probably just as good, I don't think the Hyundai is as good as the Toyota even on gravel. Unlucky he got the puncture
Taka - Good drive, picked them off as they fell and scored good points
Mcerlean - Good run, he needed it. Nearly threw it away, but ultimately, he's not quick enough.
Pajari - Unlucky, good drive and good pace.
Fourmaux - Good, in the hunt for the win until the punctures nobbled him. Wouldn't have beaten Ogier though.
Evans - Can't really say he was bad, just wasn't great either. Punctures killed any chance of a save
Sesks - Bit disappointing. Tyre management seemingly a weak point which constrained any speed he did have.
Solberg - Unlucky with early puncture, silly mistake later on day 1. He will be fine, he's going through that phase that so many young motorsport guys do after some initial good results.
Armstrong - Impressive pace, got unlucky. Looks like one of the rare ones that has stepped up to Rally1 and got better.
Sordo - Anonymous, seemed a bit disinterested...better to let Paddon drive if that's the case.

Who would imagine Katsuta being there for the title. Never in a million years. And it will be even more of a surprise if he would won it over Evans.

It kinda shows the lack of competition. He drives a toyota, tanak and rovanpera aren't there, and ogier drives part time.

he might win it over evans, but he won't win it over ogier.

Katsuta being a title candidate is greatly over exaggerated. Not to be mean, but from what he has shown until now he would crumple mentaly in a title fight with, for example Ogier. Or in general most likely with anyone

What I remembered was that it was very expensive. And now when I googled it, I got the same result. Really expensive, no relevance to road tires and FIA wanted to add drama to the rally. Nothing better than an artificial issue to someone battling for the lead.

I like Taka, but to be honest he being in 2nd place shows the level of competition this year... have to admit he has been very consistent, though.

Way to go stewards! That's how you get this series more watched and put interest in people!
Josh was just barely rolling out of ditch when they buckled up..

Very, very dangerous! Yet at the same time Cachon had a totally safe magic flying rock from bushes into windscreen and that's all good..

Evans didn't push OK button and only got a fine.
