I thought the FIA said they would invest in this championship.

For the Final Round they've combined WorkdRX and EuroRX1 in the heats and made it a 1-Day event.

Lowest point was probably when they had to put the top class drivers to run RX2e cars for the final races of the season, after the whole fire on the Lancias drama.

That was exceptional circumstances.

This situation is purely due to the state of the Championship when the team with the biggest history in the sport cant go on.

More interesting is that from 2028 its the same cars in wrc and the new wrx! Never heard thar before?

Yeah I've heard that there was testing after Kymiring with Rally2s and Rally4s and with RX cars. What I've heard yes, the cars will be same, but with different engines (atleast for WRX1 cars).

Turning WRX back to ERX is really good step. But being ICE exclusive from next season a huge FU to all teams and drivers who invested €400 000 just for the powertrain. Now they'll have to invest more money to rebuild the car back to the ICE powertrain. They just should have keep all cars until the regulation changes. I wouldn't be surprised if Volvo CE or Hansens would just withdraw until 2028.

im 100% happier now. hope no clashes with rallyx too. good! it is a niche sport, with not much money, its pointless to keep pretending it is a world championship without all the money from vw/audi/ford/peugeot/sponsors/f1 track promoters...
