Can it be any more clear that it's made up penalty?
Stewards had too many longeros in sauna and somebody came to that idea in the middle of the night?

Had it been Ogier and Kaj Lindström, they would have given the marshal a gazoo cap with a cookie and 50 eur suspended fine..

He didn't rush away at the end of that stage.. the car was damaged and maybe stay away from it if one can't do his job safely..

Rules change - Driver and co-driver must now come out of the car after every stage and get a signed paper that everybody is far from the car.

E: re-watched his stage end and.. wrc official cameraman or what else and a yellow vested marshal were filming Tanaks damaged car when the car was driving awsy. Nobody was screaming or anything.

Made up penalty?

Ott hit an official - aggressive driving is for the stage, not the stop control/road section.

This kind of behaviour has to be penalised heavily as otherwise it becomes normalised.

Any other driver would be penalised in the same way for the same behaviour.

5min as engine change penalty for that kind situation is too much. Did Tanak have other offences with Finland marshals before?

As long as we don’t see a video how it rally happened then it’s all speculation

I personally think it’s just a bad moment, like Ott said he didn’t see the Marshall there and that right corner was damaged with sharp objects there and scratched the marshall or smth
