Why would they even run yesterday and today and retire before PS? I mean there were some testing going on but one more stage to go doesn't seem like a big task to complete

I don't remember the details, but I think there are some more updates available to make changes for a retired car.

They can retire easily before last TC in service after PS. Like they did with Loeb here in 2019 for example.

Retiring on purpose just before PS makes no sense unless forced to.
