Anybody got an idea if Salonen really asked for power steering in the 205?

Yes. And when they could not supply that in the next rally, they gave a bigger steering wheel instead

Should get someone to put together an electric rallycross Subaru (in the new hatchback) for Olly Solberg?

As there is no Rally Estonia 2023 topic I'll post it here. Today they announced the new prices for 2023 Rally Estonia and they have lowered the price from 85 to 65 (a nice 23% drop!). Though, you would have to buy it before 31st of January. After that the price will increase to 75 and before the rally it is 85. Let's see, I think most of the tickets will be bought after Ott's decision

Ott's decision should not affect my Rally Estonia at all. It's still nice to see those top drivers on our beautiful roads.

But it will affect overall so called "fans" who most certainly will not be buying unless Tänak will participate. For Rally Estonia this would be huge financial loss.

It's even the same in Finland. Rally Finland spectator rates were at an all time low around 2013 when it was the third successive year without Finnish winners. Then it started getting better with Toyota becoming a "local team" and Lappi winning in 2017, and now it went through the roof with Rovanperä leading the championship.
