Utterly depressing... The smell of street food, people talking, big engines roaring in the background, it's all part of the motorsport experience. It's what makes a weekend special, and part of the reason why I drive there from Antwerp to watch. But I guess I'm just another bitter fossil that needs to eat the bugs and live in the pod

For all the doom and gloom by some for the last few years about the chage to Rally1 regulations today was my first time seeing Rally1 cars live in action and they were very impressive, every bit as impressive as the WRCs on tarmac, in my opinion.
Rovanpera, Neuville and Evans especially looked very quick. Solberg while quick seemed very ragged and untidy, would make you apprehensive about his chances of surviving the weekend.
Lefebvre the most impressive of the WRC2s.
Roll on tomorrow!

Good for you and good for them, I however was not kidding. Anyway... looking forward to leaving for the stages tomorrow morning. Still not entirely sure which stages I'll do. I really want to see the final power stage podium, assuming there is one, as there's a chance Kalle becomes champion this weekend.
