Cruising isn´t a solution when anything can happen. Today we´ve seen random punctures. Could happen to anyone in top of the field as well. So Ott should be on his toes all the way as long as time distance is shorter than minutes.

Yeah, true. But by cruising you might avoid punctures as well.

It's now "bring points home" mode. No need to push to prove something.

It could happen to anyone in top except Kalle. He is so lucky this year that it is "almost impossible" for him to get a puncture (or loose any significant time because of it)

Noticed that as well. It looked like he was casually crossing the road

Absolutely stupid, what excuses would they use if he’d got killed or injured. Complete stupidity, I’d ban him from spectating the rally from here on out tbh.

    Latvala to Delfi

"I would like it more if the cars were equal and the drivers would determine the superiority based on their skills," said Latvala.

Unfortunately, this year Hyundai is not comparable to Toyota either in terms of speed or durability. "There was very little time left to design and build new hybrid cars, but Hyundai started work half a year later than others," explained Latvala. "We fit into the time window, Hyundai didn't."

At the same time, Latvala thinks he knows what Hyundai's main problem is. "Look at how the rear of the cars behaves, it throws here and there, which means that the machines are not balanced," said Latvala. "Watch Tänak's ride - he doesn't have his usual smoothness, he has to race uncharacteristically very aggressively."

Latvala also has a recipe for fixing the Hyundai bug. "It's hard to do anything with small settings, things can be made better, but also worse. If I were the boss of Hyundai, I would take a risk and make big, fundamental changes to the car."
