After one year and half of break without any competition it is not surprise. Also his target was not to fight for win from beginning, but to do as much km as possible to go back into rhythm.

i mean he lost only 3 secs to Thierry on Rallye Sanremo after 80kms, now he loses already 23 secs after 30kms.

Yeah, and there's no stages overlapping each other either (forbidden in the rules now).
