Do the Toyota cars' engine management systems have sensors for the altitude or an oxygen sensor etc?

9th March 2018, 21:52 #543Well all the cars should have O2 sensors... I think the ECU's are seeing knock and backing off timing, turning off Anit-Lag etc.

His co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul tells us the unfortunate episode. "The morning was good in real specials, we just had a very short special in town where we had engine misfires, and it looks like gas pressure like last year. the special as a snail and we lost about twenty seconds in the adventure. He had to activate a security mode and he had to open his door to do the manipulation. The door closed several times on his arm so it him "It was painful for him," Gilsoul told the microphone of our colleague Olivier Gaspard, special correspondent of RTBF in Mexico.

And to add: "We would have done well of this technical problem. The biggest challenge will be to make a reset in his head in about fifty minutes not to do stupid things during the afternoon."

The co-pilot from Neuville also detailed the scan for us. "The sweeping in Mexico is very localized, there are more sandy and some more earthy portions, some places are artificially repaired so it's very changeable, it should be better during the afternoon." he concluded.

 Hyundai Motorsport
UPDATE #Neuville: we identified an unforeseen over consumption of fuel in @thierryneuville’s car which caused a loss of fuel pressure in SS5. Thierry is now on the way to the afternoon loop of stages. #WRC #HMSGOfficial #RallyMexico
