Third quickest! 4.3sec off the pace and it's a great start for the Frenchman. "I'm quite surprised by that. A good run but not perfect. In places I'm hesitating, and I'm not there on the braking in others. It's coming."

It'll be hilarious if Loeb is at all competitive in the rally overall. I can imagine the arguments on here - he had road position advantage, blah blah blah. But to be anywhere in the same league as guys doing this for a full time job after like one day's practice in a totally new spec car is unreal.
