    Interesting start so far, the gaps have grown relatively quickly, but this is a tricky rally and still a long way to go. So far Tanak and Evans seem to have the best pace, taking road position into consideration I'd say Tanak could be faster over the next couple of days. Hyundais a bit underwhelming but it's not the first rally this year that they started off on the wrong foot/setup.

    Poor start for Finns! Only JM is ok 5th place. Juho strugling 10th and poor EP 11th.

    RC2 young Huttunen driving hyundai is good 7th and Nordgren ok 10th. But Kalle poor and slow whole morning 17th. Suninen was fast but after puncture 23th
