Well he did hit a wall on the last stage, but that's a part of the learning process. Other than that a very good job so far, some impressive times today.

He hit a wall and lost 5 mins on tonight's last stage, I'd count that as a mistake. Other than that he's done a good job and had just found his pace.

Considering the amount of mistakes (almost) everyone made in this rally it is an OK rally for Lappi, OK maybe he's no Loeb but also he's no Ogier, remember his debut in Wales Rally GB '08 when he rolled like a million times & finished 26? Again this is a different era & level of competition and of-course a different rally but you also have to remember that the difference today between the R5 cars and WRC cars is much bigger than the S1600 & WRC cars back then. Also for Lappi, he isn't in the strongest team (as Ogier was back then). So please cut him some slack, it's only his first proper rally, give him some time until you start slamming him with "compliments".
