    Interesting - between service parks, only driver and co-driver are allowed to work on the car. Does acting as a translator/telephone link count as outside assistance?

    As far as I know, no it does not count. I had a problem this year with the gas pump in our car on a National Rally, and a crew member was telling me what to do, and a official was seeing the hole scene. As long as they don't give me anything or touch the car, It's allowed.
