Mikkelsen: Of course we had the best tyres on this one. It looks like we gained some time back on that downhill section - I really pushed. Overall I'm not sure it was the right choice

if you want to see if was right choice is very easy.
Calculate the ss kms before ss 9.Find how slower from Ogier was Mikkelsen at all these kms.
Do the same for stages 9 and 10.
Imho was a good choice.

100% sure that Tänak would be a lot faster than Ostberg if they were in the same team, very poor performance. It isnt his favourite surface but it isnt Tänak's either.

Compare how much sec/km was loosing from Leader till stage 8.Then do the same for stages 9 and 10
smaller number wins.
So simple,whatever says Mikkelsen.
