    Stages like today really show the power of not knowing the splits. It's great. Some guys unhappy with their times turned out to be fast. Some guys happy and then shocked to see the timesheets.

    they why is evans almost a minute faster than tanak and kubica, who started after him?

    this is only very little about the stage drying up, this is about having confidence and balls. most of them just tried not to crash, not to win the rally.

    Come on - credit where it's due. Stage was still soaking wet in most places. Prokop not on pace at all as previously stated. Some guys simply did a better job of judging their pace.
