The official maps that are sold together with the program book provide enough detail to find those roads.
I figure normally it is like that, but last year I heard of a guy who got a ticket just for 1 km/h over the limit and other with 3 km/h over the limit. Normally it's good to avoid the bigger roads where the most of the traffic is as well as the most of the police and cameras are.

That is strange. No police radar has so small own tolerance. In my opinion such penalty isn't legally enforceable.

No Steven Dolfen and Jon Armstrong this weekend, both their 208 R2's has sustained too much damage in their crashes at Wervik and Azores.

You have a point there. Also, point is that Ypres police are paying extra attention and I'm not going to ruin my trip trying out my luck.

Yes, according to the rules, drivers with FIA priority (same like RGT priority) are part of qualify stage. Their only one disadvantage comparing to registered drivers is that they cannot fight for prize money.

Madeira is nice event, but has one big disadvantage - it is on island. And we have too many island events in ERC now...

Do you mind if I tag along to that? Would be interested to hear from some experts on my first (proper) Ypres trip.

A little bit OT: I got only one ticket for speeding in my life but I asked czech police here in Brno for every single detail and they told me there is 10% tolerance plus police radar has its own 3 kmh tolerance. So you get ticket for speeding 58 kmh where 50 kmh is allowed here in Brno, Czech republic. It has to be very similar in Belgium. I think that guy with just 1 kmh over the limit drove his car 60 kmh, which is really 1 kmh above tolerance (50+6+3 +1) in Belgium but he tells the story more interesting way
Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise
