They claim it's a Michelin/WRC contracts fault, since Kubica is on pirellis

WRC fb/yt is just overloaded with Kubica & Pirelli pics and complaints
Maybe, but we have promoter = Redbull, and we have winning team with red bull stickers everywhere... so full of video with redbull, neither a rally

(I don't pick any side in here - Polish fans overreact and WRC promotor is surley partial)
Kubica's fans overreact, but they're right. Try to see it in wider point of view. We have a private driver, the fastest on the third leg of Monte Carlo, and he's almost invisible on television broadcast. It looks like WRC coverage is only for factory teams. This is why sponsors are hard to find for many good non-factory drivers.

Last year 63% of entrants took part in last leg. This year it's 87%. That's why spectators love Rally2...

Mads Ostberg “I’m very pleased with today. We drove 100% safe”

H Solberg “Mentally I’m already in the next round in Sweden - where I should go faster, I promise.”

Were any of the non-'Rally 2' drivers really trying after the first day ? Seems only Tanak & Evans, everyone else just cruised to keep their points.

Yes. They are in WRC2: Lefebvre, Koci and Camilli.

Well, just today they asked wrc.com people to show him in stage highlights and, surprise, surprise, they did. Don't underestimate power of fans, especially with nowadays social media craze.

to clarify my point of view, Ofcourse I agree that it should not look like VW fest and I share your opinion on this matter, I just wanted to express my dissatisfaction with SOME of the fans reaction, and bring more attention to the topic.

insults and imprecation might have a detrimental effect.
