I can't help You with road closures but maybe a little bit with the rest. From my experience the weather on Turini feels usually colder than it actually is. It's relatively close to the sea and there is quite humidity which doesn't help at all. Definitely take a lot of warm clothes and good shoes. It's a long day there out in the cold. I have never been on Turini for WRC event but even in IRC it took a lot of time to get out of there. There is always huge number of cars and the traffic moves sloooooowly. If I remember when the stage ended around midnight we got to Menton around 3 a.m.
Anyway enjoy!Last edited by Mirek; 18th January 2015 at 22:20.

Hi dimviii,
I left after the "like button affaire". It was very difficult to me following the threads without that tool because I hadn't time enough. There was some issues with the WRC pickems results too...
I believe I won't carry the camera with me. I'm going to feel the Turini, our religion says that we have to do it once in our lifetime.
Thank you for your help, Mirek. I´ll take it into account.
Any information about bars' closing-opening times?
I am back for a while now and I will be back in Portugal too. I'll go to recognize the stages before the event, giving you some information about them. Some of the old and new roads are minutes from home.
Happy to post and read again at the best rallying forum.Last edited by Kielder; 18th January 2015 at 22:49.

Of course you're right. I know I'll only see a residue of what it used to be, but we are in the 21st century. People who will go to Fafe or Lousada this year won't know what it was like in the 90's either.
What matter is that I will always be able to say that I spent a whole night at the Turini talking to other rallying fans.S-DV 9032; TO V33681; VLE 756X; IN-NL 67; IN-NZ 9; 704 EXC 75; 294 FPF 75; TO-89095-H; K-AM 5803; K-AM 6983; L 555 BAT; N6 MRE; 206 NDP 75; X20 SRT; S600 WRT; 23 DDM 92; WOB VW 369; SP 1013...

Will Oliver get more Rally1 chances in 2025, are there any signals?
