Actually, a loss of one place which is achieved by one minute one second time penalty.

Bit of a bummer. A drop of 1 place but a 1 min (and .01...) penalty. Will Nawerecki appeal?
A harsh decision.

This is a silly situation, I think this will start backfiring soon, the same as all the penalties did in F1 and now they just dont impose them.

It was quite obvious, he did it on live television broadcast. I was watching it live on WRC+ and immediately wondered if that would be allowed. It was not a very smart move i must say, and he didn't gain anything with it. Rules are there to be folowed tough, so i understand the decision, alltough i find it bad for this rally, no more opposants for VW now.
