New loss in the french rallies world...
Hi,
For our northern France rallyfan friends, 2007 could have really hardly started worse...
One of the most famous regional rally drivers, Jimmy Manessier(really fast on tarmac and gravel rallies with cars like Toyota Corolla wrc and Celica GT) has just been killed in a road accident early this morning...
R.I.P. Jimmy, and condolences to familly and friends(including codriver Thibaut Gorczyka)
His last outing on tarmac was with the Corolla WRC at the Rallye du Touquet this year(he was 3rd overall behind the whales before he retired)...he also ran on Citroën Saxo T4 on some gravel events.
After Eric Dupont and Bertrand Frémaux earlier in 2006(start of last year), killed in testing accident with their Mitsu Lancer GrN, it's Manessier's turn to leave earth and let northern France rally world without 2 of their best representants
