On the other hand, there are many possibilities to see Dani Sordo in Gran Canaria with a I20 Rally 1, depend on Hyundai Motorsport.
Looks like his participation in Portugal is 100% sure.

The party is coming to Gran Canaria !!!
The organizing committee of the Rally Islas Canarias reveal its route and announces the news so eagerly awaited by the fans: the stages.
It will have 3 days of competition, 301.30 kilometres of stages formed by 18 special stages, two of them super special stage. As a novelty this year, all the timed sections will have a tyre warm-up area.
The organisers will indicate the areas where the public will be allowed to be located on the timed sections, for which there will be a bus service, details of which will be announced shortly. We ask for the cooperation of all the fans respecting these areas and the indications of this organization to make the rally a success.
The starting ceremony will take place in the Plaza de Santa Ana with the Cathedral of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as photocall.
Monday, 10 February 2025. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
It's official! The organising committee of the Rally Islas Canarias unveils the timed sections and recovers mythical special stages of the rally. The itinerary is made up of 18 special stages totalling 301.30 kilometres. Two of the 18 special stages will be super special stages. As a novelty this year, all the timed sections will have a tyre warm-up area. Registration will open to teams on Monday 24 February and the full itinerary will be published.
The event will start on Thursday, 24 April, with the shakedown in Santa Brígida. It will take place on good tarmac from Los Silos uphill and will then enter a much narrower and more technical downhill section. The shakedown ends in a fast and wide area near the town of Santa Brígida. The day will end with the start ceremony in the incomparable setting of the Plaza de Santa Ana, with the Cathedral of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as the photocall.
The competition proper will start on Friday, 25th April, with the Valsequillo-Telde, Valleseco-Artenara and La Aldea-Mogán will be a double pass.
The Valsequillo-Telde special stage will start in the town centre of Valsequillo and will enter an area of good wide tarmac until the Las Vegas junction. There, a narrower and more technical section will begin along the Barranco de Los Cernícalos ravine, ending in a very wide uphill section near the finish line of the Subida de Los Marteles.
Valleseco-Artenara will start at the end of the urban area of Valleseco. The drivers will face a mythical stretch of very fast and twisty road, with very good asphalt that is part of the idiosyncrasy of the rallies in the Canary Islands, reaching a very fast descent to Artenara.
La Aldea-Mogán will start with an ascent from Tocodomán and then move on to a route that, due to its speed and selectivity, will demand the maximum from the teams. The section will reach the municipality of Mogán on a descent, where one of the secrets against the clock will be between one bend and the next. This section passes through the famous Los Azulejos area, a natural work of art that catches the eye of those who drive along the road that leads from La Aldea de San Nicolás to Mogán.
On Saturday, 26th April, the Moya-Gáldar, Arucas-Firgas-Teror and Tejeda-San Mateo stages will be run over double pass. The first special stage of the day will start from the centre of the town of Moya with the roundabout in the centre of the town, which stands out for its length, selectivity and speed. The teams will have to play with the strategy of tyre choice as the route of this special stage has different types of asphalt, humidity, temperature and grip. They will pass through the village of Fontanales to reach the finish line in the municipality of Gáldar with the landscape of Fagajesto.
Arucas-Firgas-Teror will run through Los Castillos - Zumacal. It will start from the ascent of El Palmar just before reaching the roundabout of Los Castillos and, once past the mythical and famous crossroads of Los Chorros, it will ascend through the demanding Zumacal and finish descending from the crossroads of La Laguna de Valleseco to Teror. This is a very fast descent, with fast braking and steep descents all the way to the finish.
On the other hand, Tejeda-San Mateo will start from the town centre of Tejeda on a technical and fast route and, after passing the Ayacata Crossroads, will start the steep climb to Roque Nublo, arriving at the Los Llanos de La Pez Crossroads. Right there begins a descent of good asphalt, wide and firm to the finish line in the municipality of San Mateo in Cueva Grande.
Also on Saturday, the super special stage of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will be held, returning to the inside of the Gran Canaria Arena, which will put the finishing touch to the second day of the rally. It is a very special stage for many drivers as it is the only one in the world that takes place inside a basketball court.
On Sunday, 27 April, the focus will shift to Agüimes-Santa Lucía and Maspalomas, which will also be a two-pass, and the Costa Canaria super special stage, which will be held after the first pass of Maspalomas. This special special stage will be held entirely within the Gran Karting Club de Maspalomas, recovering a section where drivers such as Juha Kankkunen, Gilles Panizzi, Enrico Bertone and Gustavo Trelles have driven.
Agüimes-Santa Lucía, the famous Era Del Cardón, will start before the Corralillos junction. It is a very fast and selective special stage where, in its central part, it goes into the Las Vallas section, with very narrow bends with the finish line very close to the municipality of Santa Lucía.
Maspalomas is a very fast special stage that will start in the village of Fataga and finish in Maspalomas. The second pass of this special stage will be the Wolf Power Stage. The Rally Islas Canarias - Rally de España is the fourth round of the FIA World Rally Championship and will be held from 24 to 27 April 2025.
