Trip to an irish rally !

    Hi everybody !

The irish championship is very spectacular and more over there are a lot of WRC

In fact when i saw that Ireland rally had introduce in the world championship, I want to go in. I'm a fan of wrc cars and photos. But because of my studies, i couldn't do this trip :'(

So I decide to see one race of the national championship like Ulster International Rally or Cork '20 International Rally at the end of the year because the dates are ok for me.

I want to have your advice to those rally (are they beautiful, quality of the entry list, nice landscape, etc ...)
And advices to go to Ireland because i never travel to this country.

    Thank you

Of the 2 you mentioned Cork is the one for me..
But if you can get your ass to Donegal! The stages, scenery and craic are out of this world!
I would imagine there will be more WRC entries in Cork as opposed to the Ulster rally but this year Donegal is really going to be the event to be at, McRae, Loeb, Solberg, Sordo, Hirvonen and maybe Gronholm to compete!! Thats going to be hard to top!

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.

Im not 100% sure to be honest..
Its fair to say we never know with McRae and his lovely escort, he doesnt seem to always make it to an event.. Loeb and Solberg are apparently confirmed. where as its anyones guess about Sordo, Hirvonen and Gronholm.
The reason for the high interest is that there is a good gap between rounds of the wrc and Donegal falls right in the middle of it! Perfect opportunity for the big boys to do a bit of testing

    Thanks for your answers

I know that Donegal will be an expectional rally but i can't go to this rally because i have my exams. So the last rally of the seasons are the unique possibility for me to see one of them.

Have you got others advices to follow the Cork, wich is apparently the best of two ?

Yeah, Cork would probably be the best one to visit, especially as it is not long before rally Ireland and is the last round of the Irish Tarmac cahmpionship. So it would be likely to see all of the Irish regulars along with maybe some of the WRC drivers using it as a practice round. However the Ulster rally is a mix of the all the Irish championship drivers and the British championship(Mark Higgins, Guy Wilks etc) on the same rally so its up to you...
I know the feeling, i probably wont be able make Donegal either, the thought of Seb loeb driving the C4 faster than in any other wrc round is just great (We don't have to stick to the FIA's average stage speed rules here )
