    DAMAGE FOR SOLBERG
Oliver Solberg has made it to the end of SS2, but not completely unscathed. He's got damage to his left rear wheel.

That's cost him over two minutes. Not the ideal start to the rally for him.

he should step back for 2 years into WRC3...WRC2 is too early for him....

Yes, he should. First ever driver getting a puncture in Monte. He´s finished.

    Wait... he won SS3.

    Here we go again...

Winning stages even by huge margins (which this wasn't) is not what his aim should be in WRC2 (and not really in WRC either). He has shown already in 2019-20 that he can be fast on single stages.
It's connecting the fast stages to good results (first rally then championship) that should be the goal.

Puncture already in second stage of the season doesn't look promising. I would applaud him being 1-2 secs slower than fastest Rally2 cars and staying on podium more than this.

He is not scoring points this weekend so doesn’t need a podium.. he may as well explore the limits of the new car with no pressure.

My sarcasm was, if you didn´t get it, over another sarcasm hinting about WRC3... or was that a serious quote?
