It seems to have been closed at random for no reason with no explanation, but someone must have done it manually because threads don't get closed automatically.

As for Oscar I think you are probably right. He knows he will retain the lead and not force any issues with the team. As for Max a tougher call. He is no doubt watching the championship slip away...
