Electronic Arts have today officially taken over Codemasters.
Lots of negative feedback about this on social media.Rally 2023 is #ForCraig

I wouldn't be surprised, they are working on it for a few years.. They started to develop it as Dirt Rally 3 in 2020 (it was teased in their blog post), which should have released in 2022, but they merged both series as they reportedly didn't want to release two similar games in a span of a year.
Looks like we will get WRC game with a bunch of pretty historic cars (and hopefully World RX too), instead of just a few not very well-made cars. Also there were insider leak that stated that there will be feature that let you build rally car from the scratch, which could be a huge feature, although a bit against irl rallying.
