Indeed. I held off buying tickets as that seemed inevitable, though I was surprised when they did the media day.

Anyone heading to Oulton Park/Neil Howard Stages next month?

I'm hoping that slips through the net and is deemed a small enough event to run with spectators. Not been to anything since the Monte!

Surely it depends on whether you're in Tier 3? If so, then I'd probably say no.

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

I've heard they will be serving substantial meals there so should be okay...

Who knows what will happen in all seriousness.

Have a ticket but have until midnight to night to decide if Im going or to cancel and get a refund

Issue is its shifting sands and its so vague. We live in the sticks a stones throw from the NY Moors. Problem is we have York to the right of us and Harrogate/Leeds to the other side and there are strong rumours they are going to put all of Yorkshire into Tier 3. I postcode checked Oulton last night and it said the risk was High in Tier 1/2 it does not say you cant travel there however what happens if I set off to drive there and get stopped?

Also the Welsh crews and those from the Nth West who already in 3 or a national "circuit breaker" I guess risk possible prosecution if they set off as in this case:

    https://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/ne...-racing-fined/

Am of a mind to cancel rather than risk waiting until MSV do and live to fight another day and I havent been to an event since late 2019!

With its location is it likely more entrants are from the North ? If so most of it is in Tier 3 and travel only ok for work or study.

Could this be considered work ?

The Cambrian Rally slated for Spring 2021 has been put back and would be the closing BRC event...

But... its reported that the BRC still needs a 'commercial partner' to run at all next year.

This will be a pretty hard sell in these grim times.
