That exterior and wheels with forged internals, HKS Super Dragger full straight through exhaust, two Trust T88 turbochargers, Sparco Evo buckets, safety devices full rollcage, cusco 2 way lsd, front mount intercooler, TEIN coilover suspension, better brakes, apexi air filter, uprated ecu at 2.7 bar of boost, momo sports steering wheel, 5 point willains harnesses, lightened flywheel, a jackson racing supercharger and no stereo/ice. Such a nice Supra

Captain VXR probably has a competitive entry, provided he doesn't crash and can get decent mileage out of it.

Astraracer's Escort would certainly be unassuming, but whether it would be bale to keep up the 100+ mile an hour pace for 3000 miles is rather uncertain. Good luck though.

Schmenke, Gridgirl and Donney, you guys would get pulled over within a few miles of the start, and I doubt those art cars could keep the pace......

CarlMetro's entry would be in pieces before he hit Pennsylvania, because a Thrust SSC doesn't stop worth anything and is not too good at turning corners - or for that matter, getting any sorta gas mileage. hock:

While you're all stuck trying to get out of carparks like Clarkson, getting arrested for speeding and getting mugged for owning something exotic, I want for the sensible and bland approach.

What policeman would honestly pull over a Vauxhall when there are so many other bigger fish to catch?

An American cop cause a Vauxhall would be distinctive in the USA as they don't sell them there

That car would be rather obvious in the USA my friend. At least, as soon as a cop figures out what it is.

The Ferrari F2004 wouldn't work as the roads here are too poor of a quality for the low slung chassis. I'd personally go for something serviceable and with parts availability in the middle of nowhere or towns where the only dealerships or part sources consist of Ford, GM, or Chrysler. I actually learned this lesson when driving my Datsun 240Z home from Colorado to Georgia. But I digress. My choice would be a Corvette Z06, Ford GT, Saleen S281 (Mustang chassis), or the modern Mustang GT500. I feel ashamed for choosing American cars, but...

Were parts and serviceability not a problem, Bugatti Veyron. It's stupidly fast, which is a plus, and so ugly that cops wouldn't know what to do when it rushes by in a blur. The other choices would be a Ferrari 550 Maranello, BMW M5, or Porsche 911 turbo.
