    i mean that why they cant just say the stage is stopped. all this info is on twitter minutes earlier than they announce it. Same with Latvalas off, they noticed it like 5 minutes later.

    It is bizarre for that reason, they must know that most of the audience watching WRC+ will know how to get information from other sources, but they obviously like to heavily control their own narrative. Like AL14 says, they are the voice of the Promoter, not journalists.

    Sounds stupid, but could it be an attempt to give "all live" feeling for those who are not following rally so actively. Well, probably those persons will not watch all live anyway
