The difference I saw on the onboards was that Tanak turned in earlier and harder/more aggressively. Evans was maybe a little too cautious and the ice threw him way off.

great battles ahead today. less than a hour left!
E: based on the tyre choice it must be basically bone dry then. Advantage for Ogier, and disadvantange for Ott to make up big time against Loeb and Latvala.Last edited by EstWRC; 27th January 2019 at 06:16.

Latvala 'shouldn't' lose his position to Ott in equal conditions/ same tyre choice, but who knows how he'll be mentally.. Originally Posted by EstWRC

He could struggle on tarmac in his first day in the Hyundai, but it depends if the Hyundai has improved on dry typical tarmac. Ott even didnt go maximum...the understeer he had was horrible from heli shots

For me it sound reasonable to remove Hybrid from the car in terms of cost saving. If I am not mistaken, one unit is ca 15% of the total car cost. And in most of the rallies, more than one unit is...
