Bad impressions are always hard to change…we don’t know the reasons for Neuville’s last year (and this year first events) underperformance, but he clearly showed a better mood in Portugal and since then he has been the second best scorer on the series (71 points to 73 from Ogier).

On Breen there’s no doubt: his performance in Finland was outstanding and he totally deserves to be in WRC. Who knows, maybe Citroen will have a 3rd car sooner than expected.

Quite dissapointed by the Hyundai R5 pace today I have to say. They don't have to look on championship points or need to finish the rally. Their only goal should be to show the outright speed of the car for future customers and try to set best times. With Abbiring and especially former Corse winner Sarrazin I was quite convinced that they will be hard to beat for Kopecky and Evans.

Maybe Citroen suits Craig's driving style more than Ford did? And he has information about the car setups directly from the works team.

My impressions from the videos we have seen is that the chassis is good but it is still underpowered compared to the leading cars. Could be wrong but that was just my feeling.

Hey guys, it is first rallye for I20R5! If they finish, it will be already a success. No reason to go from the first stage flat out and risk a possible off because of driver(s) mistake(s). The team needs informations from stages, not from recovery and assistant vehicles digging cars from ditches....

That sounds like a PR answer

They've done the testing.. now they need to know how fast the car is.

Suninen struggling in Corsica it seems. Brake issues on SS1. I'm guessing a puncture on SS4? Anyone know?

Also does anyone know why Andolfi retired?

They have done 6 months testing. Skoda 1 year + 1 year in a lot of rallys. Ford builds R5 since the middle ages.
I think Hyundai is doing very good. Of course there is still work to do.
