The first official/allowed spectating spot is at 5.5 km, the parts before that are forbidden because the landowners don´t want crowd there (no spectating spots made in that section).

i've become quite skeptical of these wrc2 drivers and their ability to adapt successfully to WRC....granted they may look spectacular at the wrc2 level, but then there's that transition to the big league that really separates the adults from the children

let's wait and see how he performs if he ever gets the chance in the wrc...and by chance i mean at least a few rallies and not a one off situation

i can't see him making the top vw wrc team at the moment....i'm not sure they will move/fire any of their present top 3 drivers

There is not reason VW not to keep their drivers for next year. Latvala had some weak results, but so can do anyone (well except Ogier atm). This rally was not good for Mikkelsen either. it just happens....

With cars already breaching previous average speed records and stages with average speed of 132 km/h like Ouninpohja , it seems to me crazy that FIA agreed at such regulations for 2017 with 36 mm turbo restrictors instead of 33 mm

as much as i'd like to see all the teams expand, i'm not sure of even VW bringing on a 4th driver at this stage

based on the current trend,,,,,3 drivers seems the most as it somewhat impacts the team's budget, logistics, etc.

that comes with improved aero & car dimensions, so it's not bad, cars will be more stable at high speed.
